Each location is carefully selected for its natural beauty, architecture, and overall atmosphere, ensuring that every guest feels a sense of comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Dalywaters Estate
LOCATION: 240 Bungower Road, Mornington VIC
CAPACITY: Up to 70 people (Chapel)
CATERING: No formal dining, external catering permitted
Dalywaters Rose Garden and Chapel offers a loving and intimate environment.
The venue features picturesque rose gardens and a vintage chapel, open to everyone, no matter who you are, or what your background is.
Its inspiration stems from a love of nature – fit for celebrating the life of a loved one who embraced the outdoors.
The garden is closed for winter maintenance from 1st July to 1st September each year, and coffins are not accommodated at the venue, but urns are permitted.
Dromana Cemetery
LOCATION: Arthurs Seat Road, Dromana, VIC
Dromana Cemetery offers the opportunity for a memorial to be placed on the cemetery’s Memorial Wall.
There are no longer any new grave sites available at this site, but for those wishing to remember a loved one at this location, the Memorial Wall offers a beautiful way to do so.
Eagle Ridge
LOCATION: 215 Browns Road, Boneo VIC
CAPACITY: Recommended for a minimum of 60+ people
CATERING: Food & beverage packages
A celebration of life at Eagle Ridge Golf Course will truly be one to remember.
The venue’s ballroom offers spectacular views across one of the best landscaped and featured golf courses in Australia.
There is also the option of an outdoor alfresco area that overlooks the scenic golf course and provides a memorable outdoor setting for your funeral event.
Flinders Cemetery
LOCATION: Stokes Street, Flinders VIC
For families who prefer a traditional monumental cemetery, Flinders Cemetery is a good option.
The cemetery is beautifully adorned with trees and greenery, offering a sense of peace and tranquillity.
It also offers sites on the Memorial Wall for cremated remains.
Mornington Cemetery
LOCATION: 40 Cragie Road, Mount Martha VIC
Located on the corner of the Nepean Highway and Craigie Road in Mount Martha, Mornington Cemeteryreflects the historical importance of early residents of Mornington and the peninsula.
The cemetery can offer burials in the lawn sections as well as garden and wall memorials.
Mornington Racecourse
LOCATION: 320 Racecourse Road, Mornington VIC
CAPACITY: 100-500 people seated
CATERING: Food can be self-catered or organised by The Rocks Restaurant, alcohol to be purchased from The Rocks.
Offering several different rooms to suit a variety of funeral events, Mornington Racecourse can accommodate anywhere between 100 and 500 people.
The venue is set among 68 hectares of manicured lawns and Cypress trees with lovely views over Moorooduc Plains and within close proximity of Mornington town centre.
All rooms come with standard AV.
Mornington Yacht Club
LOCATION: Schnapper Point Drive, Mornington VIC
CAPACITY: Up to 80 people seated
CATERING: Food can be self-catered or organised by The Rocks Restaurant, alcohol to be purchased from The Rocks.
With stunning views overlooking historical Schnapper Point Harbour and Port Phillip Bay, the Mornington Yacht Club provides a beautiful beachside location for your funeral event.
The venue caters for small intimate gatherings to larger celebrations of life. Lower rates are available for Club members.
Sorrento Cemetery
LOCATION: 78 Normanby Road, Sorrento VIC
Sorrento Cemetery is an historic cemetery. Its beach location, and 3.8 hectares (8.1 acres) of tranquil lawn and gardens, offer a peaceful sanctuary for families to reflect and honour the lives of their loved ones.
The cemetery enables a culturally diverse range of burial and cremation memorial options to help families observe traditions and ceremonies important to them.
As at 2023, there are limited grave positions remaining at Sorrento Cemetery, and therefore pre-purchase is no longer an option.
Tyabb Cemetery
LOCATION: Cemetery Road, Hastings VIC
Tyabb Cemetery is situated in a quiet area of the peninsula, appealing to those who may prefer a smaller cemetery.
This cemetery would be a good option if you’re seeking a monument as a remembrance to your loved one.
